Research Interests

I work at the intersection of Cognitive AI, NLP, and computational social science. My current focus is on building robust representations that connect symbolic structures (e.g., logographic systems like Hanzi) with learned embeddings for reasoning, cross-lingual transfer, and real-world decision support.

I am also exploring unsupervised / self-supervised learning for CT-scan medical imaging, and behavioral economics topics related to human decision-making and policy-relevant outcomes.

Ongoing Research
  • Hanzi as a universal logographic representation: theoretical & cognitive-linguistic study of cross-lingual script mapping and symbolic compression.
  • CT-scan representation learning: unsupervised modeling for feature discovery and downstream clinical analytics (remote collaboration).
  • Behavioral economics: research under Professor Tracy Xu (University of Denver), focusing on decision behavior and modeling.
